Internship Program Helps Women In India Restart Career Path

Internshala's initiative to help women who have been out of their career paths for a significant amount of time is offering sufficient salaries in accredited fields. According to NDTV, only 27 percent of Indian women are part of the workforce. With the help of their new initiative, they hope to close this immense career gap plaguing the country. The campaign is supposed to encourage women to apply for internship programs to help them gain experience in various fields so they are able to make an income of their own. Historically, Internshala has created jobs for over two thousand women in India and hopes to keep these numbers up as they embark on their new program with women seeking to get back in the workforce.
