Ruth Bader Ginsberg Takes Her High School Photo...Sort Of

Seniors at North Farmington High School have transformed their student picture day into an opportunity for creativity and comedy. The senior class has adopted a tradition of dressing up as pop culture icons for their school ID photos each year. This year, the class of 2019 went viral on Twitter after ID photos surfaced of Princess Leia from Star Wars, Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, and even Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, to name a few. When asked about the tradition’s popularity, students reflected that they loved the opportunity to be creative in what would ordinarily be a mundane school photo shoot, while others expressed their gratitude for the camaraderie that the tradition brings to members of the class as well as the local community.
