Scotland Repeals Decision to Allow DIY Abortions

Scotland has recently been speed up the process of repealing a controversial plan to allow unsafe abortions at home. The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC) launched a legal battle with the Scottish government in January to prevent these unsafe practices. With their fight, they hope to change the court's decision of deeming homes a safe abortion location and reverse a lack of regulation of medical staff being present during an abortion. Reversing this bill is an essential way to make sure that women not only have access to an abortion, but a safe procedure as well.
