Where the Kardashians are concerned, every holiday might as well be the Met Gala. It’s no surprise, then, that the famous sisters showed up in full force on October 31st, this time in coordinated Victoria’s Secret Angels looks. With lingerie, bodysuits, and wings created by the underwear giant itself, Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie proceeded to take the streets of Los Angeles—all the while snapping pictures for their various social media accounts. It took no less than a few seconds for the images to make headlines, but some writers are calling foul. Indeed, in an age when celebrities are starting to use their social reach to promote inclusivity and diversity, it is a bit disappointing to see the most famous family in the world using their power to promote bras and feathers. If we’re looking for some more self-empowerment from the Kardashian fold, it seems we’ll have to wait until next Halloween.
