Women Hold Congressional Power During Kavanaugh Hearing

 

In the midst of Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court hearing, many government officials have grown comfortable with the prospect of his nomination. However, recent sexual assault allegations against him from an anonymous letter have put a question mark on this issue. Many believe his fate will be determined by the women who will testify and vote during the hearing. Throughout the hearing, Kavanaugh has prioritized his relationship with many important women in his life such as friends, family, and employees. However, with the #MeToo movement as a subtle, yet powerful voice in this conversation, women will most definitely lead the fight in this hearing.
