Women Join Forces to Fund Political Campaigns
With the upsurge in female candidates this election cycle, Democratic women have joined forces to raise the funds necessary for electoral success. Women have organized a national network of "giving circles," organizations that allow donors to pledge minimum donations to candidates. These giving circles often promote gender representation in office. New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has focused efforts on building giving circles over the past four years, giving more women the opportunity to win a seat at the table.
