Although women comprise almost half of the population in Canada, only a fourth are currently being represented in Parliament. This makes election season crucial, especially since it gives people the opportunity to choose who they want representing them in Congress. Twelve millennial women voiced their opinion about how to get women involved in both this election season and politics in general. This is greatly significant since research suggests that female leader can strengthen decision making in politics and make the Canadian political spectrum more diverse.
