Young Migrant Children Don’t Recognize their Mothers

As separated parents and children reunite after months of waiting, the time apart has taken its toll. Some of the children don't immediately recognize their mothers, while others ask for aides they knew at the facilities where they were kept. Even as children under 5 are hurriedly reunited under a court order, many more parents and children remain split up.
